History
Ariel was born into a very wealthy English family in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire, England. She is the second youngest of four children, Julitte (28), Faron (25), and her twin Diamanda (23). Their parents were never around much, due to their busy work schedules so they were all raised by their nanny, Mrs. Alice Smith.
Even when Ariel was very young, it was obvious that she was different from her siblings. She would much rather play make believe and dance and sing than read books or learn proper manners. Her brother and sisters thought she was strange and would have made her childhood miserable, had it not been for Nanny Smith. Now, Nanny Smith did not play favorites, but if she were forced to choose, Ariel would undoubtably be her choice.
Ariel and her siblings lived a very posh lifestyle, due to their wealth. They were home schooled until they were old enough to attend secondary school, where they attended abroad in France. It was finally in boarding school that Ariel found her niche with the so called 'misfits'. She listened to music her family would cringe at, she kissed boys and flirted, experimented with alcohol and drugs, and got into her fair share of trouble. By the time she graduated, her twin refused to associate with her because she was so embarassed of her sister, who had failed to perform to the family's expectations.
Ariel dreaded the return home to England. She didn't want to be smothered by the conservative Ashcombe family values and attend University and become a doctor, lawyer, or some other high paying job. Hell, she didn't know what she wanted to do with her life. So she convinced her parents that she wanted to take a year off to travel the world and find herself, or some other bull shit reason like that. And it was the best decision she could have ever made. She traveled all over Europe, and then to Africa and Sounth America, and then the United States where she eventually made her way to the city of Las Angeles. Here, she immersed herself into the music scene and finally felt alive. When she refused to return home, she was cut off from the family fortune, not that it bothered her too much.
Ariel still remains in close contact with Nanny Smith, although they are on a first name basis now a days. She works as a waitress during the day and bar tends at night to pay for her small apartment. Somewhere in her three years in LA, she became friends with the members of the local band, Drunk Skunk Radio. She doesn't really remember how they met, the night was a bit of a blur, if you know what I mean. She was then somehow convinced to sell merch for them whenever they played a show, and she continues to do so.
